Once the area is numb, the topical anesthetic will be removed. A surgical antiseptic will then be used to cleanse the skin before Dr. Erickson begins the injections. Depending on the artistic techniques necessary to achieve the best results, Dr. Erickson will perform the injections using fine gauge needles or a cannula.

What to Expect
After
No downtime or recovery time is needed after undergoing a Restylane® Lyft treatment. It’s important to note that some patients may experience slight redness, bruising, or swelling in the treatment area. These will usually subside within a few days after your treatment.
Patients must avoid direct sunlight, massages, and heat on and around the treated area for at least 24 hours after this cosmetic procedure is completed.
Results
Patients will notice improvements immediately after the treatment session. If post-treatment swelling occurs, it may take a day or two to see the full effect of the injections.
