Non-Surgical Butt Lift with Sculptra® Aesthetic
A Non-Surgical Butt Lift is a procedure in which Sculptra® is injected into the cheek area of the buttocks. Sculptra® Aesthetic works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. It helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase volume that has been lost to aging. This treatment is often combined with manual subcision of cellulite. Over time the area treated will begin to look more voluminous, smooth, and youthful.
Subcision is a minimally invasive procedure that treats the primary structural cause of cellulite. Cellulite has many causes but the deep pockets and puckers are caused by fibrous bands in the fat layer underlying the affected areas; these bands pull the skin down and create the characteristic dimpling. Our simple in office procedure treats cellulite by releasing these connective bands, typically in a single treatment.
What is subcision?
The subcision technique treats the primary structural cause of cellulite—the connective bands woven throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks. These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the puckering you see on the surface of the skin. Similar to a rubber band under tension, once released, the treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out.
How soon will I see improvements?
Results can be seen in as little as three days, and the Sculptra will continue to take effect over the course of several weeks. During this time your body is using the Sculptra to produce new collagen, resulting in lasting volume.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects reported by patients were soreness, tenderness and bruising.
Who is a good candidate?
Anyone looking for an improved look and a smoother backside! This procedure can enhance volume and create a lifted and smoother appearance of the butt. To be a candidate for subcision, the cellulite dimple should appear as a true dimple and not “rippling”.
Does it hurt?
We offer the best pain management options to minimize any discomfort during a treatment. A local anesthetic is administered prior. Most patients feel little to no discomfort during or after the treatment and experience no downtime.
