What Does a Sculptra Treatment Session Involve?

The anesthetic will be removed after 20-30 minutes, once it has taken effect. After cleansing the skin with a surgical antiseptic, Dr. Erickson will then perform the Sculptra injections via cannula or using fine gauge needles.
What to Expect After a Sculptra Treatment
Once your Sculptra treatment is complete, you can go back to your normal activities, since there is no recovery time needed after this treatment. Mild bruising, redness, or swelling may be present for a short time. It’s imperative that you avoid direct sun exposure immediately following your procedure.
Sculptra Results
With biostimulatory fillers like Sculptra, results are more gradual than immediate. It can take six to eight weeks for Sculptra’s effects to be noticeable, as natural collagen production takes some time.
